In my most ambitious project yet, I'm going to do a neck reset on a Gretsch Synchromatic 6014 archtop guitar. I bought this guitar as "non-functional", which doesn't quite reflect it's true state. The guitar plays quite well as a strummer, but the bridge is bottomed-out and the action is still a touch high. The neck also appears to have a slight twist in it.
The other thing that needs to be repaired on this guitar is the headstock, which is de-laminating. Once I remove the neck, then hopefully it will be easier to determine how to fix that.
