Notes
The invader / hot rails are cheapo chinese copies but sound excellent for 1/4 the cost of the 'real' thing. They split well because each coil is such high output, but you still end up with that odd plasticky sound when splitting - this could be due to the lone coil seeing a 500k pot (You could always add a resistor from the split point to ground, to lop off some more highs when the coil split is engaged, however I didn't have this installed here.)
Overall the single coil / normal output neck humbucker (in this case SD Jazz) seems to work better - less bass overload (the Invader has ridiculous output and bass), and the jazz works well with a 250k pot as it is quite bright for a humbucker. The middle position sounds great with this combo too.
