Train Cab Ride NL / Amsterdam - Haarlem - Alkmaar - Hoorn / SGM Sprinter / Feb 2019

Описание: Cab ride on the sprinter service from Amsterdam to Hoorn via Haarlem and Alkmaar. On our way to our final destination we'll make stops on all station on our way.

As you will see we'll start our journey with a slow ride to Amsterdam Sloterdijk. This was because there was another sprinter that needed to pass us before our track could be cleared of any other trains. As soon as that train is passed by we get a green signal and start our journey on full (SGMm) speed with a 2 minute delay.

Just after we got to continue our journey we get a general call from the train dispatcher concerning a alarm call trains got just a few minutes earlier if they were close to Amsterdam Zuid, Schiphol and Amsterdam Sloterdijk, for an incident on the line to Schiphol. Because our train was out of that area at the moment the alarm call came in we didn't get one.

Our first stop is at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. There will follow many other stations. As you can see this video is from February. This is because I haven't been able to record a new video. I've been on a longer holiday and also having trouble with my new camera. It gets overheated while recording in 4K with 60fps. This might mean I have to take a step back to 30fps for the newer video's. But we'll see about that.

Like I said: on this journey you'll see lots and lots of stations. We're a little bit like a metro line between Haarlem and Uitgeest with lots of stations on just a small peace of track. But for me this line is always nice to drive on. Not too much of course. But that's the case with everything in life, don't you think?
