The Beach Boys - Stevie (2024 Fan Remaster)

Описание: Stevie is an unreleased track by The Beach Boys.* Written and recorded around 1980/81, This song is about Brian's admiration of Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks. This song is notable for being Dennis Wilson's last producer credit before his death, and being one of a few "Cocaine Sessions" songs to get a proper studio recording.

While it was considered for release on the Made In California boxset. The only way to hear the song has been a mono tape that has gotten more compressed and edited with time. This copy was sourced from a vinyl rip of the California Feeling bootleg on Archive. While still in mono, being high up in the bootleg chain improves quality.

This was very tricky to remaster. As the song didn't have an extended sample of tape noise to help with noise removal, I had to work with either extremely tiny samples or parts of the song with vocals or piano. While far from perfect, I am still proud of how this turned out.
