AudioKit - Nerd Synth - Preset Demo by DMT CYMATICS

Описание: Massive Thanks to Analog Matthew for the opportunity to design presets for his latest synthesizer.
Nerd synth is based on the brilliant but expensive hardware synth by Nord. Also in a distinctive red color, the sounds to be had from designing in Nerd synth are unlimited. With 2 Oscillators on two different layers which can be combined or split in a number of way. There’s 3 LFOs offering an additional 6 modulation paths, with virtually every knob and feature being able to receive modulation commands.
The Arp/Gate is fully featured, along with a brilliant 16 step sequencer which can be set to either oscillator or both.
One of my favorite features is the Unison mode which makes this synth sound super lush with both oscillators being split into 4 voices which are then detuned to your preference.
The FM FX is a lot of fun and simple to use.
Of course we also have a Lo-Fi option allowing super destructive 2-Bit, 4-Bit, 6-Bit, 8-Bit (Great for chiptune game sounds), 12 and 16-Bit.
You can also dial in some RingMod Crush, Flanger, Vibrato, and Tremelo.
The Reverb is great and set it to Max for massive BlackHole type freeze verbs.
Preset management is simple and practical.
There’s so many fantastic features it’s hard to list them all! You can also set the master tune if you want to make 432Hz music (ranges go from 200 to 600) instead of the standard 440Hz.
The other preset designers have done a fantastic job and I’ve enjoyed checking out their sound designs.
As for myself, I have the largest preset bank with over 150 and I also produced the 77 Nerd Basic presets which act as a starting place for your own sound designs.
It goes without saying the app is also AUV3 and plays great within AUM, Cubasis, Logic, Beatmaker 3 and other DAW’s. It is a solid and reliable app with the developer also updating all his apps periodically.
It would also be worth getting yourself other AudioKit apps such as King of Bass, King of FM (which is Free!) along with Saga Synth (Sega Sounds), NES Synth (Nintendo game sounds), and several others such as VHS Synth, and not to mention my favorite King of Digital. There’s several others to choose from and all priced reasonably.
