General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is in way over her head. She’s been trying to keep the demise of Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) under wraps and digging herself deeper in the process. Mason Gatlin (Nathanyeal Grey) recently asked Ava to spy on co-parent Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), leaving her stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Meanwhile, her co-conspirator Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) seems to be transforming into less of a sidekick and more of an instigator. Austin may be up to no good while pretending to be an ally to Ava Jerome

Ever since Austin first stepped in to save Ava from herself — after she clobbered her ex-husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), over the head — the two have forged a friendship built on shared trauma. But Ava is nobody’s fool, right?

Now that Austin’s shady cousin, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), has been thrown into the mix, Ava has found herself questioning whether Mason is really working on someone else’s orders.

Austin seems fixated on convincing Ava that the people ordering Mason to do their bidding are too dangerous for her to even know their names, but what if their name is Austin?
