Notes: This corrido takes place in 1957 by el Pueblo El Moral in Coahuila. Claudio Balboa was shot and injured by Amador Chacon. No reason is given as to why Claudio Balboa was shot and eventually died. Amador was taken away assuming he was arrested by the police even though lyrics don't specifically say this. The lyrics elude that they were friends at one point and one betrayed the other and one had to die. This is what the say lyrics towards the end of the corrido, "El Mas Amigo Es Traidor, El Mas Verdadero Miente" which roughly translates to "The best friend is a traitor, the most true, lies".
