It seems an unpopular opinion, but I really enjoyed the Phantom Menace and got rally hyped for the sequel.
So I'm continuing my journey through the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Picking up years after The Phantom Menace, this chapter leans further into political intrigue, large-scale conflict, and the growing darkness surrounding Anakin Skywalker.
Directed by George Lucas, Attack of the Clones stars Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, and Natalie Portman as Padmé Amidala. The film also features Ian McDiarmid as Chancellor Palpatine, Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu, and Christopher Lee as Count Dooku.
As the galaxy edges closer to war, this instalment expands the scope of the Star Wars universe while deepening Anakin’s internal conflict and setting the stage for what’s to come in the trilogy.
This is my first-time reaction and commentary on Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
