Delhi Draft Voter List Out: 47.56 Lakh Names Missing | What Voters Must Do | News9

Описание: The Election Commission has released the draft electoral roll in Delhi after the completion of the third phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).

Delhi has around 1.45 crore registered voters, of which forms for approximately 97.5 lakh voters, or 67.16%, were digitised.

Around 47.56 lakh names are missing from the draft electoral roll. The category includes voters classified as absent, shifted, deceased, duplicate or falling under other categories.

However, voters need not panic. Being left out of the draft roll does not mean permanent deletion from the electoral roll. Eligible voters will have a month-long window to file claims and objections and seek inclusion.
