Just a compilation of the females that each decade were considered "the" sex symbol. It doesn't match in every case my personal opinion, but I just think it's interesting to see what the summit of attractiveness was considered at different moments in history. Due to having to choose one per decade some breathtakingly beautiful women have been left out, such as Ava Gardner, Lauren Bacall, Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Angelina Jolie, Bo Derek, Scarlett Johansson...etc.
