In this free wheeling chat, Keerthy opened up about her life - how she navigated her way through in the industry and the kind of backlash and weird remarks she had to deal with on her way. She reveals that many producers called her Unlucky after her first Tamil film flopped. Not just that, she adds that gossip columns were abuzz with stories about her dating her co-star and many times, she was judged for making decisions and saying no. Reprising good friend Samantha's role from the original, Keerthy revealed that Sam has always been supportive of her. She also made a shocking revelation about turning down Nag Ashwin's Mahanati initially when she was approached for it. "I sat for the narration for four hours and then said No, because I was very scared, " She exclaims only to add that Mahanati turned out to be a life changing film for her. She bagged the National Award for the Best Actress and lived not just her dream, but her mother's lifelong dream that remained unfulfilled. Talking about family, she adds how her parents reacted to her victory. Finally, she also reacted to a viral paparazzi clip where her manager stopped and rebuked a photographer from clicking a video of her from top angle while she was entering her car.
