"History in Action: Historical Thinking in Public Life" was a conference held at Columbia University to discuss the value of history to the wider world, specifically within the context of history PhD training.
The American Historical Association's Career Diversity for Historians initiative is working to better prepare graduate students and early-career historians for a range of career options, within and beyond the academy.
