The Albion Next Generation Lancaster is representative of an Oakeshott type XV arming sword, a type that was popular across a wide swath of Europe for multiple centuries. In this review, I take a close look at the Lancaster, going over it's place in history, do some cutting in the backyard, and compare it to several other Albion arming swords, before finally rendering my verdict on whether I think it is worth the $1,085 price tag.
