There are several ways that the H.C.E.A. works to see that this mission gets accomplished. Read on!

The Historical Construction Equipment Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is the only organization in the world dedicated to preserving and documenting for public education the history of the construction, dredging and surface mining equipment industries. We operate the National Construction Equipment Museum in Bowling Green, Ohio, and the Museum includes a unique Archives that encompasses sales literature, photographs, repair manuals, business records and more for over 2,600 manufacturers of such equipment from the 1870s to the present day.

The H.C.E.A. publishes a quarterly magazine called "Equipment Echoes" for all its paid members. The magazine features photographs and detailed articles on equipment, discusses upcoming H.C.E.A. events, contains a store catalog of different and unique items for the construction enthusiast, and also contains a classified section for those who are interested in selling, purchasing, and restoring equipment or parts.

The H.C.E.A. sponsors the annual International Convention and Old Equipment Exposition. Conventions are held throughout the United States. Machines, displays, presentations and demonstrations are all an exciting part of the convention along with the vendors that display and sell memorabilia!
