14edo is a lot of fun to work with. Unlike 12edo, the most common tuning, or 17edo, a very similar system to 14edo in many respects, 14edo never feels quite resolved due to the poor fourths and fifths. The whole systems feels a bit wobbly, like it always wants to go somewhere, but is never sure where that is, in part also due to the two circles of fifths it contains (I think).

In this track I made significant use of the colourful augmented chords available, which 14edo tunes quite nicely. There's the 9:11:14 'neutral augmented' chord and the 7:9:11 'supermajor augmented' chord, which stack to form 7:9:11:14 (the names aren't conventional, I don't know what everyone else calls these chords). These chords behave very interestingly in 14edo, as 14/9 and 11/7 are tempered to the same interval so these two chords feel a lot like the augmented equivalent of minor and major chords, composed of a neutral third then a supermajor third or vice versa in an analogous way to chords made from major and minor thirds. This makes them distinctly more harmonic sounding than 12edo's augmented chord, which tempers the neutral and supermajor thirds to two equivalent major thirds (If we're pretending that 12edo approximates these chords rather than some other chord with a 5 limit 8:5 minor sixth).
