Afformation The Book of Afformations

Hi, Lorraine Menza and in this video I will talk about Afformation The Book of Afformations. This book was written by Noah St. John and he comes up with a new term that is the miracle of positive self talk. This term is called an affirmation.

First off let’s differentiate between an affirmation and an affirmation. An affirmation is a statement that we write that we want to happen in our lives. The problem is our mind, the subconscious part takes over and begins to ask questions. The questions your mind may ask are disempowering questions. These questions combat your affirmation. Why can’t I lose weight? Why can’t I make money? Why am I unloveable?

Noah St. John talks about how our brain is wired to answer questions. So why not ask empowering questions, to get your brain to answer. These empowering questions are called afformations. Why am I so successful? Why am I able to lose weight? Why have I found my soul mate?

So an affirmation is an afformation in a questioning form. You want to turn your affirmation into empowering questions. Empowering questions are positive and powerful.

Noah St. John stresses that if you don’t do anything different the afformations won’t work. You have to include different strategies. If your brain is wired to answer the question and find some answers, then it is important to incorporate those answers into your strategy.

Noah St. John has afformations on 10 areas of our lives that most people want to have change. These 10 areas include: health and well being, money and abundance, building self confidence, work and career, love and intimacy, family and relationships, conquering fears, overcoming bad habits, spirituality, and life and happiness. Each chapter presents empowering questions dealing with each area.
