The Pit Is Not Proof of Failure-
“They took him and threw him into the pit…” (v.24)
Joseph was thrown into the pit not because of rebellion, but obedience. He was doing exactly what his father asked. This teaches us a hard truth: faithfulness does not exempt us from hardship.
We often assume that if things are going wrong, we must be doing something wrong. But Joseph’s pit tells us otherwise. Sometimes the pit is not God’s punishment—it’s God’s process.
-You can be anointed and still abandoned
-Loved by God and still misunderstood
-Chosen and still suffering
The pit does not cancel the promise.
