Описание: This Sri Lankan historical documentary focuses on Queen Lilavati, who was the fourth woman in Sri Lankan ancient history to rule as sovereign. Queen Lilavati gained to prominence as the wife of king Parakramabahu the great of the kingdom of Polonnaruwa. Following his demise, she then ruled from Pulasthipura on three different occasions in the anarchy following king Parakramabahu's death. The primary literary source for her life is the Culavamsa chronicle.
