Northeast Ohio teacher charged in connection with alleged secret recording of nude minor

A Medina man who taught at an East Cleveland school has been charged after police say a child was secretly recorded nude inside a private bedroom.
On Feb. 6, officers with the Medina Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Brynmar Lane just after 11:30 p.m. following a report of a sex offense involving a minor.
During the investigation, officers learned that the child had been secretly recorded while in a state of nudity, police said. The recording was discovered on a shared household computer. Detectives responded to the scene, preserved digital evidence and secured a copy of the video, authorities said.
Eric Christopher Dockery, 47, of Medina, was later located at a different residence and taken into custody. He was charged with fifth-degree felony voyeurism and second-degree felony illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, police said.
