Rice flour- 500 grams
Palm Jaggary (or) Sugar -500 grams to make syrup
Black (urad) dal flour-50 grams
Dry Ginger powder-2 tea spoon
Oil- for frying
Process involved fermentation of 10 hours
This Palm jaggary sweet is a famous traditional sweet recipe prepared in southern districts of Tamil nadu, India. This recipe can be prepared by either palm jaggary or sugar. This recipe gives exotic sweet and aroma due to its combination of fermented black gram dal with rice fried and soaked in sweet syrup.
