After 30 Long Years Away, I finally returned to my hometown with some of the people who mean the most to me.
In this special vlog, me, my mom, my dad, and my oldest son Abel travel back to San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, Mexico, the place where I was. This is our first time coming back in three decades, and it turned into an emotional family reunion I’ll never forget.
I reconnect with my brothers that I haven’t seen in 18 and 16 years, visit my Mami Adela’s gravesite to pay our respects, and spend real quality time together as a family; sharing meals, stories, and memories.
We also experience the fun side of San Luis life, checking out off-road trucks in the desert and ending the road trip with billiards, pool, and dominoes.
This trip reminded me how humble my town is, who I am, and how important family really is.
Home will always be home 🇲🇽
