The Many Moods of Christmas is a carol suite created by Robert Shaw and Robert Russell Bennett, weaving together several traditional carols into a single, dramatic flow that captures the many atmospheres and emotions of Christmas. Each carol retains its own character while forming a highly refined and beloved musical structure.

Ki-Young Kim’s arrangement preserves the grandeur and lyricism of the original, while thoughtfully adapting it to the Korean performance setting. The result is a richer, more natural musical progression, with the warmth, joy, and reverence of classic carols beautifully balanced. Transitions between sections are smooth and cohesive, enhancing the overall narrative of the suite.
