Welcome to Eden Park, the largest sports stadium in in New Zealand, located in the Auckland suburb of Mt Eden.
Eden Park has a capacity of 50,000 seats and regularly hosts the Blues in Super Rugby (as seen in this video), as well as All Blacks rugby tests and cricket matches. Domestic cricket is played on the outer oval, with international matches being played on main ground.
Given the suburban location, it is uncommon for concerts to be held at Eden Park due to noise control regulations.
The Western train line runs to Eden Park, with the Kingsland station being just across the road from the north entrances. There are also bus services arranged on match days. Car parking is very limited with some local residents even charging spectators around NZ$10 to park in their driveways!
If you're in the neighbourhood during a match day, come along and enjoy the sports, along with some overpriced beer and food!
