We created this cell for Snap-On Tools. They needed us to automate part of their pocket screwdriver assembly. We created this cell to attach the clip to the screwdriver's handle. A vacuum picks up the clip, and an air cylinder drives it into the handle. This cell is hand-fed by an operator who places the handle and then removes it once the clip is placed.
This cell is a perfect example of how automation can be seamlessly integrated into your manufacturing process to fit your needs.
