Chief minister BS Yediyurappa laid the foundation stone of the Life Sciences Park in Bengaluru. The ambitious 5000 cr project aims to promote research and innovation in the Biotech sector. The event witnessed a huge crowd for the inauguration and the norms for novel Corona virus were violated.

There was no social distancing maintained or sanitization of the rod that was touched by so many people. The event is not the first of its kind where the norms were violated and there have been many such events before.
