What are the basics to operate the machine?
The wire is cut off and presented in front of the operator. The operator will hang the book onto the wire and either push the button or step on the pedal. The book will advance to the closing head and the next piece of wire is presented in front of the operator. Then the process continues.

What wire sizes will it work with?
It will do all your wire sizes from 1/4” to 1-1/4” and that will encompass your 3:1 and 2:1 pitch wire.

How long does it take to change the wire size?
It takes about 3 to 5 minutes, including the spool change, to change from one size to the next.

How does the operator change the wire?
What your operator will do is set the size of wire and length of wire that you are doing into the system and that adjusts all the different adjustments on the machine. So it sets itself up for the wire, and all your operator will do is advance the piece of wire and start binding books.

Does it work with calendar hangers?
The machine will do skip binding and calendar hangers. The calendar hanger is an option, it is a plug-and-play option. There are two holes that the pins reference into the plate. You plug it into the side of the machine, turn it on on the screen, and you’re all set to go.

How fast can the machine operate?
Depending on the operator and the thickness of the book, you can see up to 1,000 books per hour.

What makes it different from other similar machines?
The machine requires no tools to setup, and there are also no parts to change out.
