Welcome to the Network for Open Science Professionals! The Network’s second webinar, titled “Diving Impact: Empowering Research Managers in Knowledge Valorisation, Co-creation & Open Science,” is now available online.
In this section, Maria Mecenero, Policy Officer at the European Commission (DG Research and Innovation – Research Careers; ERA Unit: Spreading Excellence and Research Careers), introduces ResearchComp and Research Manager Comp: the European competence frameworks designed to strengthen research and research management careers in Europe.
She highlights how these frameworks support skills development, career progression, institutional capacity building, and the recognition of diverse research roles across sectors, contributing to the implementation of European Research Area (ERA) priorities.
