Описание: This heart-wrenching incident of injustice has left a family in Balasore district, South Praharajpur village, waiting for justice. An elderly man, Katibas Chand, was brutally attacked on November 30th, near Gurdas Pole, as he was returning home from a simple errand. The attackers, one of whom was from Srirampur village, stole his bag and left him with a severe head injury.
Local residents heard Katibas's cries for help and rushed to his aid, eventually informing his family about the shocking incident. His son, Rakesh, and another young man immediately took him to the Hatigarh National Health Centre, but due to the seriousness of his condition, he was later transferred to the Balasore District General Hospital.However, what's even more distressing is that despite reporting the incident to the Raibania police station, no case was initially filed. It took a day's stay at the Baltimore Medical Center and a transfer to Cuttack for treatment, but there was no improvement in Katibas's health.In desperation, Rakesh returned to the Raibania police station on November 1st, and finally, a case, number 99/2023, was registered at the NY Police Station. The police have promised to investigate and take necessary action.Meanwhile, Katibas remains in a coma, and his family is pleading for justice to be served.
