Time Management (Most Important)
You need to attempt 100 questions of 1 mark each. You get 1 mark for each correct answer but you lose ¼ marks for each wrong answer as there is negative marking also. So, you need to wisely attempt a question where you are not very sure.
To cope up you should follow the below suggestions:
Start with first question read carefully and make up mind to attempt it only if you have ready answer. If you have ready answer without any thought or calculation attempt it and mark it as done so that you don’t need to read it again. Attempt all ready questions in first go and mark it as done.
Second step, come again in the beginning of paper and start find those questions you find easy to understand and calculate. Do rough work in the space provided for rough work. Attempt to calculate one question just one time. Don’t devote much time to correct the errors in calculation if it needs more than required time.
Attempt all questions one by one which are easy to calculate. This way you will be able to attempt good number of questions in lesser time.
Always mark all questions which were attempted as done to easily count the number of correct answers.
Now count all questions you have easily attempted. If the score more than 50 then you have achieved the minimum requirements. So do not try to attempt any question where you are not sure.
Now in the remaining time you should go for remaining question. Give them a deep thought, try to calculate or recalculate and find correct answers to increase your score.
Don’t try questions you have doubts.
If your score is below 40 then you can take risk as for every 1 correct answer you have 4 incorrect answers to neutralized. This way can take chance of achieving 40 marks which are required to pass the paper.
If you are sure to get marks in the range of 40-45, never take risk to increase the marks with a question where you are unsure or have any doubt, as it can negatively affect your result if it was wrong.
