I’m completely devoted to making astrocartography more readily available for everyone AND also calling out the false over-simplification of this technique that is spreading like wildfire on social media.

Which is why I’m so behind passionate about talking about this everywhere I can online.

Because if we don’t talk about this, who will?

TikTok and social media has a tendency to simplify things to make it easier for people to understand. Then it becomes trendy. But then we miss out on the actual knowledge and study of this complex field.

So here’s what you have to remember:

Do NOT think you have to line on a line 💕

Measure the distance. You need a measuring tool.

If you want to do this seriously you need to get Solar Fire. PERIOD. You need to be able to measure the parans. I bought a new PC laptop just so I could use Solar Fire because I am committed to doing this accurate work for other people. Measurements matter. Parans can make or break a place.

Look how the angles move on your relocated chart.

Compare the different relocated charts to the map.

And please refer back to the parans - the latitude lines!

I’ve made so many pieces of content talking about this but I need to repeat it again because knowledge matters.

And it’s our job as astrocartographers to protect astrocartography from false social media videos and to spread the knowledge on how to actually use this technique. And accurately.
