Chateau Cheval Blanc is located on one of the finest gravel-sand terroirs of the Saint Emilion Grand Cru appellation. Coordinated with passion and discernment, the vineyards are planted with Cabernet Franc and Merlot—a perfect marriage creating incredible smoothness, deep flavours and delicate fragrances. Pierre Lurton, the director general of the Chateau, noted that the wine is ample yet so silky that it feels like “cashmere” in the mouth.
