Dr. Markus Krall is a Managing Director at goetzpartners and heads the Financial Institutions Industry Group.
Markus Krall has successfully managed a global portfolio of projects in risk management and strategy for banks and insurance companies across the whole of Europe, the USA, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. His client roster includes several of the global top 20 financial service providers, regulators, central banks and supranational institutions such as the European Commission.
Prior to joining goetzpartners he was a Senior Partner at Roland Berger, where he organised the initiative to establish a European ratings agency. He also served as Chief Risk Officer during the restructuring of Converium Re and played an instrumental role in the rescue of the world’s eighth-largest reinsurer.
Markus Krall has a PhD in economics and wrote his thesis at the Imperial University in Nagoya as a recipient of the Japanese government’s Monbusho Scholarship.
