There is no one correct way to transition out of teaching!

I have seen many people promoting this idea lately and it has honestly been bothering me a lot.

The #transitioningteachers process is a varied one and every person's experience is going to be unique.

Some people need #careerchange support, others need #mentalhealth services, and many need both or even neither of these.

Your opinion and perspective matters.

Listen to #podcasts, join support groups, or talk to resume coaches if you need it. Do all of these if need be. Seek out what you feel like you personally need.

Your #edxit from the classroom is not a linear process.

There will be twists, turns, and bumps in your path. You may need one thing at one time and another at another time.

When it comes down to it, never let anyone - no matter how many thousands of followers or years of experience they have - put you down or discount your feelings and needs.

There is no one correct way out of education.
