What used to be called the "ideal" family has evolved so much over the years, and today, families come in many different forms: single-parent homes, guardianship by grandparents, blended families, and even children growing up without parents.

As mothers, we’ve seen how children from these different backgrounds are sometimes shunned, misunderstood, or labeled even by their peers. We implore you to raise children who love without condition, who welcome without judgment, and who pray instead of pointing fingers.

👉🏽 Please talk to your children about showing kindness to orphans, children of single mothers, or anyone who doesn’t come from what society might call “ideal.” Every child deserves to belong. Every child deserves love.
