Gordon is joined by our friend Steve Pelikan to talk about the various firearms used in "Raiders of the Lost Ark", with a few mentions of weapons from subsequent films. One of the lessons to learn here is that you should never underestimate your audience when writing a novel or screenplay, and also as an armorer for film and TV. Somebody somewhere will notice inconsistencies and anachronisms. While this might seem nitpicky, if something takes your reader/viewer out of the story, then that's a problem, however minor. Artistic license is allowed to some degree, but it's something to try to avoid.
