Today I take a look at a arguably strange Transformer. Decepticon Vehicon Tankor. He looks like a generic 80's robot figure complete with short legs, tank tread feet and claws!

Generations 2014 Series 03 - Tankor finally offers a corresponding depiction of the cartoon Tankor; outfitted with a missile launcher, he converts from tank mode into robot mode with glowering red visor and serrated pincers. A gigantic pulverizing force, Tankor originally serves as general of the of tank-based Vehicon drones. His brutish demeanor and rudimentary speech create an impression of simplemindedness, however it is ultimately revealed that Tankor’s monstrous chassis in fact houses the Spark of Maximal scientist and strategist, Rhinox. Unfortunately when the Maximals succeed in awakening Rhinox’s core personality they find only a corrupted version of their former comrade. Gaining apparent autonomy and defecting from the ranks of the Vehicons, Tankor obtains the Key to Vector Sigma and embarks on a quest to overthrow Megatron and scour Cybertron of all organic life.
