Описание: What happens when a smoke or heat detector alarm call is reported to South Metro Fire Rescue? In high-rise and high occupancy buildings 1 Battalion Chief, 1 Engine and 1 Tower will be dispatched to investigate. This week SMFR crews are practicing updated high-rise investigation and firefighting standard operating guidelines (SOG’s). In this video Tower 34 arrives at a high-rise office building, locates the fire alarm control panel, finds out where the alarm is activated and ascends the stairwell to check out the conditions. It becomes quickly obvious that this isn’t a false alarm. An additional Battalion Chief, Safety Officers, Tower, Rescue, 3 Engines and 2 Medic units are dispatched, begin searching for victims and battling fictitious flames.
