Yoder Lumber Forest Management promotes sustainable practices, such as wildlife management and improvement harvests, along with purchasing standing timber.
The Forest Management team meets with landowners to determine their needs. A walk through the owner's woods help formulate a plan. During and after harvesting, Best Management Practices will be used to protect not only your property but the environment:
Trees are tagged by the Procurement Forester, on the basis of over-crowding, disease, and malformations. Procedures are followed to ensure the right trees are being harvested and the remaining trees and land are protected.
All of Yoder Lumber's loggers are certified Master Loggers and stay up to date on training and practices. Yoder Lumber provides fair market prices and honest business relationships.
