Owl Numbers Puzzle: 1 to 15 🦉 | World English School Today

Описание: This is one of the more challenging puzzles that we have here at World English School. There are 22 pieces in this deceptively simple owl-shaped puzzle, 15 of which display a number. On the underside of each of the numbered pieces the corresponding number is written out in word form and then that same number is represented in the form of little blue stars.

I really like the overall concept of this puzzle because it allows for children to explore the many ways in which numbers can be represented.

The location at which this video was filmed is a place where two rivers meet in southern Ibaraki Prefecture, the prefecture immediately to the north of Chiba Prefecture, where World English School is located. If you're interested in seeing the place on Google Maps, please try searching for either 'Kita-Ura River Water Gate' or for '北浦川水門' and it should come up.

Finally, I believe that the maker of the puzzle is a company called Ed.inter, a sizeable producer of what I have found to be quality items for kids here in Japan. We've enjoyed using a number of their products at our school.
