🌿 I’m sharing a simple, homemade body butter I made for pregnancy and overall skin health. As my body changes, I wanted something deeply moisturizing, fragrance-free, and made with ingredients I trust — no fillers, no water, and no unnecessary additives. This body butter is all about supporting healthy skin, locking in moisture, and keeping skin feeling comfortable and nourished during pregnancy and beyond.
This is a gentle, intentional option for daily care — not a miracle product, just a slow, nourishing routine that works for me.
✨ Body Butter Recipe
1 lb raw shea butter
1 tablespoon jojoba oil
2 tablespoons vitamin E oil
rosehip oil (added gradually, to preference)
Steps:
Gently soften the shea butter until just melted or very soft (avoid overheating). Let it cool until opaque and slightly firm but still mixable.
Using a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, mix the shea on low until smooth. Slowly add jojoba oil, vitamin E oil, and rosehip oil.
Increase to medium speed and mix until creamy and lightly whipped. Scrape the sides as needed. Optional: chill briefly and remix for a thicker texture.
I use this body butter daily, usually after showering, and gently massage it into my belly or anywhere my skin feels dry or tight. It’s a simple, water-free formula that lasts well on the skin and works great for pregnancy and postpartum care.
