We continue walking all the short distance hiking trails in Asturias. In this video you can see a segment of the trail named San Tirso Trails. This is a circular trail starting in the San Tirso and covers a distance of 14.9 km. In my opinion the most interesting parts of this hike are the abandoned mercury mine of El Nozal and the ascent of the highest peak in Oviedo (Picayu Peak). The trail has good signage and is easy to hike, although I would recommend hiking it in dry season because otherwise there may be muddy and slippery segments.
