Rovers recently lost a great friend, who finally lost his fight against cancer. Amongst many things he was a club member, Heritage Trust member and one of the founders of Rovers' Ultras. In memory of Joe Merriman, or Joe De Hoop as he was known on the Ultra's forum, the club organised a minutes applause before the match against Cork City on June 1st 2012, while the Ultras created the display shown here.
Rest In Peace Joe, and may your flare never go out.
