This is a easy to follow waterfall braid on a horse mane tutorial. I am braiding the mane of my mini horse Princess. If you are looking to learn braids for long manes, the waterfall braid is simply elegant on any horse. Princess is a miniature horse, but this long mane braid would look stunning on a Gypsy Vanner, Friesian, Andalusian, or even a Quarter Horse! The waterfall braid is very similar to the running braid, so if you don’t know how to do the running braid, check out my tutorial.
I have owned horses for 36 years and one of my favorite things about owning a horse is growing out their mane so I can braid it!
