Описание: Governor Gretchen Whitmer went on Caleb Hammer's Financial Audit show and told 24 million subscribers that fraud in Michigan's benefits system is "rare." Then State Rep. Jason Woolford went on the MiBridges portal — the state's $16.8 million benefits website — used Whitmer's real address with a completely fake name, bypassed the Social Security and alien number fields, and was never denied. He even got offered voter registration at the end.

Michigan spent $3.2 billion on SNAP benefits in 2024. The state's error rate hit 9.53% — almost double the 6% federal threshold. Under Whitmer's administration, the yearly average has been above 10%. If it stays there, Michigan faces a $320 million federal penalty starting in 2027.
Meanwhile, SNAP fraud jumped nearly 400% from 2023 to 2024. Michigan's Bridge Cards still use magnetic strip technology — banks upgraded to chip cards in 2015. The state was issuing 738 replacement cards per day. And a USDA email revealed a Russian-based criminal group was specifically targeting Michigan's system.

On top of all that, Michigan's per capita income ranking has fallen from 18th in 2000 to 40th in 2024 — the lowest in state history. Fourth grade reading dropped from top 20 to 44th nationally. And the governor spent $261 million on a speculative megasite (Project Grit) that demolished 155 homes with no factory ever built.
