Oscar's background: Oscar Pan is an Hollywood Music in Media-nominated, award-winning composer and film creative known for cross-cultural collaborations and innovative sounds. His recent work include "Cindy Tran: From Here to Here" (PBS, 2025), "Please Return Your Cart" (2024), "Cut Your Wings and Fly" (2024), "Motherland" (2023, HMMA-nominated), and "I Am Illegal" (2023). He has contributed additional music to Disney+’s "The Acolyte" alongside Michael Abels (Get Out, Us) and is currently scoring "Cirrus" while developing his directorial debut, "For Mrs. Cheng". Oscar holds a BM in Music Composition from NYU (2021) and an MFA from Columbia College Chicago (2023), studied in Paris under Michel Merlet, trained in electroacoustic music at IRCAM, and participated in the SCL Mentorship Program and Issa Rae’s Find Your People Program.
