In this video, we visit one of Switzerland's most renowned mountain inns – the Äscher on Ebenalp! Our journey begins with a ride from Wasserauen to the Ebenalp mountain station. From there, we hike through stunning alpine landscapes down to the Ebenalp Mountain Inn.
After a short break, we continue to the world-famous Äscher Mountain Inn, built directly into the cliffside and offering a unique view of the Appenzell region. Along the way, we pass the historic Wildkirchli caves, which reveal fascinating history and captivating insights into the region's nature.
After visiting Äscher, we return to the Ebenalp mountain station and take the cable car back down to Wasserauen.
