Welcome back to my monthly "corner", where I present a particular voicing I find interesting for a particular chord type. This month I'll be showcasing the #5#9 chords, also called the augmented sharp 9, aug#9, 7#5#9 or aug7#9. After showing the voicing itself, I'll show how it fits within a simple chord progression so you can get an idea of how to use it in context. You can follow even without any heavy music theory.
