Last month, The Macallan curated an evening like no other. Setting the scene at the renowned PGA National Resort in Palm Beach, which recently underwent a stunning $100 million transformation, The Macallan hosted an immersive culinary and tasting experience at The Butcher’s Club, helmed by Michelin-starred celebrity chef, Jeremy Ford. In fact, Chef Ford’s Miami outpost, Stubborn Seed, was one of few restaurants to receive a Michelin Star this year in South Florida. The evening highlighted The Macallan’s pairings amongst some of the most dynamic dishes by Chef Ford throughout various rooms at The Butcher’s Club, with each leaving guests in more awe than the next.
The tour began in the dimly-lit bar, decorated with an Art Deco style, where guests were immediately immersed in the fascinating world of The Macallan. In the bar, guests learned the rich history of the Scottish brand while sipping on the first bespoke cocktail: the Sabor. Intricately crafted, the Sabor featured The Macallan Double Cask 12 Year Old fused with grapefruit tincture, lavender, and champagne, creating a fresh, modern taste.
