Name
Thanks to XR hardware analyst Brad Lynch The headset codenamed seacliff and cambria is set to be called the quest 2 pro.
Display
The display will feature 2 Dual Cell LCD panels with advanced backlight enabling pixel level control creating OLED like black levels without traditional issues of OLED.
Resolution is 1,832×1,920 pixels per eye, the same as quest 2.
I have heard rumors of MiniLED 2160 x 2160 but these have recently been squashed.
I would be extremely disappointed if there isn't a resolution increase.
Lenses
The lenses are much smaller and lighter pancake lenses which will drastically reduce the size of the headset.
You can adjust the lens IPD by sliding lenses. An massive upgrade over the quest 2 3 spot snapping . These lenses were designed and built by Facebook.
2 Outside Cameras
The front of the headset features 2 1k near infrared 120FPS on the outside. They provide a LUA composite like the quest 2.
The middle camera gives color to the 2 outside cameras.
Front Sensors
The sensor in the middle is a 4k 120FPS rgb camera for color passthrough and mixed reality.
Controllers codename starlet
The controllers are codenamed starlet and will use laser pattern projection that guides controller tracking. There are No rings on the controller with inside out tracking.
The headset will also come with a charging dock for these controllers.
Face and Eye Tracking Sensors
Internally there are 480p 120FPS eye tracking cameras and two 400p 120FPS face tracking cameras. Rumored to be very accurate with eyebrows and even able to track when you flare your nose.
Speakers:
Speakers will be similar if not the exact same as quest 2.
WIFI
The headset will feature Wi-Fi 6e.
There is a USB C port on the left side of the headset.

Release Date
The headset will be announced at Meta Connect in September. If not then July-Dec time frame.
Compatibility
In terms of compatibility it will support all current quest content
Cost
It costs Meta $800USD. It will most likely be around this range.
What do you think? Personally i'm disappointed on the resolution but i think they will nail the formfactor then increase resolution.

Audio quality same as quest 2.
Just looking like a quest 2 pro.
$800 raw material cost. Guessing it will be around that mark.

In September references to ‘Quest Pro’ were found in the Quest firmware, as well as eye and face tracking calibration steps. Just two weeks later, the leaks significantly intensified.
