In this intimate and unscripted video, I go through a live exploration of my emotional landscape—demonstrating how slowing down, naming sensations, and giving voice to feelings can unlock profound self-understanding.
What I'm doing here is what one could call emotional archaeology: dropping from the mind into the body, noticing physical sensations (tension, temperature, color, imagery), and allowing the body's wisdom to emerge through sound and language. In this session, yawning signals nervous system relaxation, naming dissolves tension, and authentic vocal expression transforms internal states in real-time.
I share vulnerable moments—loneliness, unresolved communication that sits heavy in my stomach, the anxiety absorbed from a sleepless night—and these feelings shift and release as I stay present with them.
This is an invitation to explore your own inner world. For those of us who feel deeply but struggle to understand what those feelings mean, or for anyone curious about the connection between voice, tempo, and emotional awareness, this practice offers both demonstration and permission.
What I'm exploring in this video:
How slowing my speaking tempo drops me into emotional presence
The power of naming sensations without analyzing them
How yawning indicates we're accessing our calm nervous system
The solar plexus as an emotional hub
The difference between explaining feelings and exploring them
We don't need a therapist or partner to do this work—we can simply press record and begin. The practice itself becomes the teacher.
This video relates to my Vocal Liberation Method—check my other videos to go deeper into the technique.
